Where possible maps are included. These maps however, are only an
approximate indication of where the anglers normally catch their fish. It is
still up to yourself to seek out the most favorable water and spots to land your
prize fish.

The picturesque little town of Arniston boasts
excellent fishing in both winter and summer. During the summer months
Shad and Cob are caught and during winter it is a Galjoen angler's
paradise......

Struisbaai is a holiday town just north of
the most southern tip of Africa. It boasts an 11 kilometer stretch of
beach known as 'Die Plaat'. Some of the biggest fish in the area are
caught here.

L'Agulhas is the southern most town in
Africa. With its rocky outcrops it is the perfect place to catch your

De Kelders is just north of
Gansbaai. It is a very nice part of the Overberg, BUT very dangerous
for anglers. The sea can be quite treacherous at times and many
anglers have lost their lives along this part of the coast.
